In this section i will explain the 5 elements which will help to move on in life. Please understand that these ELEMENTS are all interconnected and they are sequential meaning that you need the first one to be present for the second one to work, and you need the second one for the third one to work and so on.
1. Structural - there are 3 parts to this, but in this video i cover only 2 of them which are financial and physical environment.
The first part is FINANCIAL which is very important to have in you life. You do not need to be super rich or work 3 jobs at the same time. All you need to do is figure out how to make just enough money to cover your expenses for the family.
The goal is that you have enough money to pay all of your bills because your brain will relax (not fully) but enough for you to start focusing on how to achieve your life's goals. This could be making more money or designing something or whatever the NEXT STEP in your life is.
If you want to know how to determine your next step in life then i suggest your watch my NOW+GOOD+PERFECT METHOD and MY DECISION FORM lessons in this course.
PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT - Part of this element includes your country, city, apartment building (house), grocery stores, forest and other general physical environment. Another part includes the physical ASSETS that you own like a car, computer, laundry machine, kettle, barn, tractor or anything else that you have control over which you use everyday or at certain times during the year.
The reason physical environment is important is because it influences your THOUGHTS, EMOTIONS and ACTIONS; as well it allows you to be productive or lazy when achieving goals.
2. Physical body - this element includes 3 items which are i) Sleep ii) Diet iii) Workouts. From these three elements sleep is the most important since the body gets rebuild, brain gets cleaned and memory gets re-consolidated. Without daily good sleep you will not be able to achieve your life's goals or be healthy.
i) Sleep:
1. Block out windows completely - You would need to cover the windows with something like a curtain so that no light passes through; the less light the better.
2. Remove all electronics from the bedroom - Yep, electronics even when turned off still have microchips and antennas which are still working in the background which adds to the EMF field that surrounds you. Also, if you have an internet router in the bedroom then please move it to another room so that it does not contaminate the bedroom with WIFI which adds to the total EMF field in your living area.
3. Don't Overstimulate your brain - Don't watch any TV shows ,movies or YouTube, since it will overstimulate your brain and it will make it really hard to relax and sleep. It is better if you talk to your partner, read a book, write in a diary or listen to mediation music.
4.Don't eat right before bed - If you want to increase the chances of shutting down faster while in the bed then it is better if you eat 2 or 3 hours before going to sleep so the blood flows to your brain not your stomach, because the brain washes itself every night.
ii) Diet
Diet is really important in terms of your total health as well as brain clarity required for getting work done. I would highly recommend doing some research about the Paleo Diet, Keto Diet, Low Carb Diet and Mediterranean Diet. This basic research will give you a good picture of different outcomes of each popular diet as well as which one you could start with.
Also, you can be on a Flexible Diet which is basically a bit of every diet but you are eating specific foods at specific times of the year in specific amounts with some fasting. Flexible diet is usually for more advance people who already have tried different diets and know what foods to eat to stay healthy and fit.
In addition, i would recommend removing 90-100% of gluten from your diet, since it is linked developing Alzheimer's diseases later in life.
iii) Workouts
Working out is something that you will need to add into your lifestyle if you want to be healthy, less stressed, happier and more influential. Why? Because workouts make you feel better by balancing the level of neurotransmitters, generating BDNF in the brain which stimulates neurogenesis (growth of new brain cells), replenishes NAD+ levels in the body which basically determines how old you are. Of course, there are a lot more benefits of exercising, but i think you get the picture.
They key is to create a BELIEF in your mind that WORKING OUT IMPROVES ALL ASPECTS OF YOUR LIFE.
WORKING OUT - should not be a nuance or a thing your do only when you feel like it. It should be like breathing air or drinking water, a part of essential elements that you need to survive.
Go through different workout programs, read books, workout with others, attend retreats and so on. This learning is what will change your belief and allow you to have flexibility in your workouts depending on your goals and the environment you live in.
If you want to read a book which hits the nail on the head about the BENEFITS of exercise, then i recommend you read THE SPARK -The Revolutionary New Science of Exercise and the Brain by John J. Ratey.
3. Mental - Your mind must be in a POSITIVE state if you want to accomplish big goals or be great in your career. The only way you would be able to have a POSITIVE mind 90% of the time depends highly on the amount of neurotransmitters in your brain throughout the day. Of course, this is only one variable that you would need in order to think clearly. Other variables, include: a sound life philosophy, understanding of self, understanding of societal structure, mastery of money, importance of personal close relationships, perception or reality (highly depends on actual DNA genetics + life experiences), mastery of own thoughts and emotions as well as life's main purpose(s).
Of course, each of the variables are like big categories of knowledge that you must acquire through self development and growth. Some of the variables like emotional mastery actually requires real life experiences to cultivate the control and understanding over your emotions.
This mental state is always ON, no matter where you are or what you are doing. Therefore, you better master it or you will end up spending years in worry and depression with lost opportunities along the way which you could not see or could not act upon because of your weak mental state.
4. Bad Habits - If there is going to be something stopping you from achieving your goals it would be the bad habits you have developed over time. Everyone has some type of bad habits from watching a lot of TV to using drugs.
You see, a bad habit does not have to DAMAGE your body or mind. It may be NEUTRAL or POSITIVE, like hanging out with friends. Spending time with friends is not particularity bad but it could be, if your friends start influencing your life decisions, or the time you have spent with them could have been spent somewhere else.
Your goal is to become more aware of your BAD HABITS and then try to 1) Reduce them and 2) Fully eliminate them. Please remember that your overall beliefs and life philosophy may not identify a BAD HABIT as BAD HABIT. And because of this you may continue to engage in this bad habit (like drinking 1 beer every night) and saying it is not a big deal. BUT IT IS A BIG DEAL! Funny enough i actually knew one Chinese guy in college who drank beer every night and did not think it was affecting him.
It is better if you ask people who know you to help you identity bad habits in addition to doing it yourself.
5. Action - this has two main main activities i) Daily chores ii) Goal/Life Purpose. Of course, you can have social interaction activity during the day (but i include it in the daily chores) just to separate the personal vs career goal related actions.
i) Daily chores - these would be you daily routine activities that you do every day or every other day or in any specific pattern that you like. These activities are usually the supporting activities so you could sustain life and feel like human being while being organized at the same time.
These activities may include but not limited to: daily rituals, food prep, driving, organizing personal calendar, laundry, friends, house cleaning, clothing prep, personal grooming and other related activities. You would need to have these in your life to be functional, but they key is to spend at little time on it as possible so you could focus on the life/goal purpose activity more. A lot of these supporting activities could be outsources to someone else and thus could enable 10h minimum per week that you could use for your goal/life purpose.
ii) Goal/Life Purpose - these activities usually would relate to your job or business but it could also relate to personal relationship on which you need work on long term basis to achieve some type of a result.
These activities may include but not limited to: anything to do with developing your business relates skills, like sales or coaching or leadership. Participating in some kind of ongoing education like certificates or degrees. It could be about decreasing your business expenses or developing a new product. Moreover, you may be engaged in building your own business BRAND or creating a joint venture.
Well, i think you get the picture of what Goal/Life Purpose activity could be. The most important thing is that if you want to achieve it faster you would need to spend more time one, that's just how it works.
